Why should we read the Bible? o It is a duty as a Christian to better know God. o God does not change. o Avoid false teachings o Equip us to serve God. o Gives us a daily guidance, knowledge, and wisdom.

What is Inductive Method?

o It does from specific to general; not dogmatic or topical

o The method allows all persons to speak and share whether they are new Christians or mature Christians.

o The method allows the leader to speak less and listen more so each individual in the group can share, ask questions, or respond to questions.

o It allows us to think and grow as Christians. o It studies the Bible directly by examining the text.

Inductive Method answers three questions:

o What does the text say? o What does the text mean? o How can I apply it to my life?

What to bring to the class?

o Bring your Bible, notebook (or a manuscript).

o Read the chapter at least two times before the class

o Use a Bible Dictionary to define words.

o Bring a desire to learn and explore the text.
