General Prayer
Remember me, Oh Lord, to be part of your heavenly plan. Help me to do right. Direct my path so to trust you more. Protect me from the oppression of the world. Be like an umbrella and protect me from the rain of oppression. All my problems I place in your righteous right hands. Thank you for all your blessings upon my wife and me. Help me to continually give an attitude of gratitude. Bless me with your love, hope, faith, and patience. Help me in my sometimes unbelief.
Smile when we do not feel like it. Laugh when we feel sad. Plunge ahead with fortitude and perseverance when we are out of strength. Raise our voices in uncertainty. May we remember our goals when we fall down. And sing in our hearts when sad.

Monday Prayers
Thank thee, Lord, for this new day. Grant that I may waste none of its hours; soil none of its duties. And bring me to the evening time undefeated by any temptation, at peace with myself, at peace with my wife, and at peace with thee.
Lord, I thank you for this day with its strength and vigor, with its new hopes, and with its new opportunities. Help me to meet its joys with praise, its difficulties with fortitude, and its duties with fidelity. Grant me wisdom and clear vision. Direct my steps and guard me from error. And of your great mercy deliver me form evil.
Make a joyful noise until the Lord. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and into his courts with praise. Be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth for all generations.
Tuesday Prayers
Thank you for this new day. Thank you for its freshness and fragrance, for its trials and tribulations, for its joys and dreams, and for its cathartic nature through you. Let go of the pains and sufferings of yesterday.
Oh God our father, help me through this day so to live that I may bring assistance to others, credit to myself, and joy to those that love you. May I be cheerful when things are difficult; and serene when things are irritating. Enable me to be helpful and prayerful to the weak who may be suffering from difficulties and need of basics.
Oh Jesus Christ, thank you for your unconditional love. Please watch over my wife, my children, and me throughout this day and night. Bring us whole, safe, and unharmed in this hour. May my children my friends come closer to you through powerful vut not destructive foreces in life’s lessons. Teach us to forgive and try to forget any wrongs from yesterday. I give gratitude for all the blessing you have given us throughout our lives.
Wednesday Prayers
In the rising of the morning and the setting of the sun, thou are with me. Be kind to me. Guide my actions, thoughts, and words. Keep me in the path that spends the day according to your will. Give me reverence for you and a repentant heart. May I ignore backbiting lies and negativity from others. Instead, may I hear your voice. Keep my family safe and healthy.
Almighty giver of all things, thank you for your countless blessings to me. Thanks for your protection of my family from danger. May you be my trusted Lord and King forever.
You are the giver of all things. You provide our needs. You continue to bless us With health, purpose, finances, protection, and freedom. Thanks for the breath of life the sun that warms us, the food that makes us healthy and strong, and a happy home.
Thursday Prayers
Blessed is the man who delights in the law of the Lord; and who meditate day and night on his law. Friday Prayers
Oh Lord, answer me when I call to you, my righteous God. Give me relief from my distress; have mercy on me and hear my prayers. Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself; the Lord hears when I call to him. Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Offer the sacrifices of the righteous and trust in the Lord. Let the light of your face shine on us. Fill my heart with joy. In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalms 4
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in your ways submit to God, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones. Proverbs 3:5-8
Help me to react to whatever the day brings with love, peace, and compassion instead of anger. Help me, Lord, to think before I react and not be pejorative. Teach me to smile more and find the joy of knowing you. Keep me away from temptation. Avoid impure thoughts.
Saturday Prayers
Grant me Lord joy, tenacity, and love. May I take praise and criticism equally. May I feel your presence by my side. Help me complain less and be positive more.
Grant me the gift of laughter, peace, and joy. Uphold me when I stumble. Lift me up when I fall.
Give me faith in you, Lord, Give me purpose and routine in your service to others and my family.
All this day your hand has led me. I thank you for your care. You have provided the necessities of life for me– clothing, food, shelter, and warmth.
Lord’s Prayer

A Civil War Soldier’s Prayer
I asked God for strength that I might achieve I was made weak, that I might learn humility to obey I asked for health, that I might do great things I was given infirmity, that I might do better things I asked for riches, that I might be happy I was given poverty, that I might be wise I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God I asked for all things that I might enjoy life I was given life, that I might enjoy all things I got nothing I asked for - but everything I hoped for Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am among all men, most richly blessed!
This Confederate soldier’s prayer survived after his death in a battle somewhere in 1862.
Morning Prayer
Thank you, God, for this new and fresh day, as fresh as flowers blooming in the Spring. I pray for strength for hope against oppression, love against hate, faith over fear, confidence over uncertainty; joy over depression; a smile instead a frown; find humor instead of sadness in our problems; be positive instead of being pejorative; show compassion instead of callousness; show contentment instead of greediness; And thank you for all my daily blessings and making me unique. Carpe Diem!!! Amen.
